Astronomy - Planetary - Jupiter (2009)

Great start to the season early June 30, 2009 AM

  1. Per John H. Rogers, Ph.D. on the ALPO Jupiter alias:

"...your image nicely shows two 'red ovals' which are now very hard to pick up:
    S. Temperate oval BA (now the same pale fawn colour as its surroundings) and the N.N.Temp. LRS (deep red but small and surrounded by dark spots)."

  2. Amazing image for a 8" telescope, great work!
